Ingredients
1 pound (454 grams) fresh salmon fillet, cut into 4 pieces
dash salt and pepper
4 pineapple ring slices, canned in own juice or water, cut in half
1/4 cup store-bought teriyaki sauce (look for one with single-digit sugar per serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450° F/230° C. Line baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Season salmon lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place 4 pineapple halves on prepared baking sheet, then lay one piece of salmon on top of each piece of pineapple.
- Brush salmon with teriyaki sauce and top with remaining slices of pineapple.
- Bake until salmon is cooked through, 12 to 15 minutes.
