Every year, the My Peak Challenge community proves that movement can be about more than personal goals. Together, we train, challenge ourselves, raise money, and support causes that create meaningful change around the world.
This year, we’re proud to partner with the Commonwealth Sport Foundation, an organization that shares something deeply aligned with our mission: the belief that sport has the power to change lives.
Throughout 2026, a portion of My Peak Challenge membership revenue will help support the Foundation’s work, funding programs that create more opportunities through sport across the Commonwealth. Together, we’re helping make a difference that extends far beyond our own journeys.
What the Foundation Does
The Commonwealth Sport Foundation exists to create lasting change through the power of sport. While many people know Commonwealth Sport through the Commonwealth Games, the Foundation’s work happens every day of the year—supporting young people, women and girls, athletes with disabilities, and local communities across all 74 Commonwealth nations and territories.
Inspired by the legacy of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games, the Foundation has raised more than £5 million since 2020 to support programs that continue long after the closing ceremony. As the charitable arm of Commonwealth Sport, its mission is simple but powerful: to ensure sport creates opportunities not only during the Games, but every day of the year.
The Foundation focuses on the places where sport can genuinely change lives—investing in youth development, women and girls’ leadership, inclusion, and stronger communities. Its approach combines global reach with locally led delivery, helping support reach the people who are too often left out while creating lasting impact long after the initial investment.
Who It Serves
Behind every program are real people and real stories.
Through its GAPS program, the Foundation supports emerging Para athletes and coaches in more than 45 countries, helping close a significant gap: today, only around 30% of Commonwealth nations and territories have the capacity to send athletes with disabilities to the Commonwealth Games.
Its Women Leaders program invests directly in women stepping into leadership roles, while the eqUIP internship program has opened doors for young people across 51 countries.
Its Game Changers grants put funding directly into local communities — supporting a basketball art school in Namibia that reached 784 young learners, inclusive sports sessions in Guernsey that brought children with and without disabilities together, and clean water projects delivered through sport in Sri Lanka.
These are the moments where confidence, opportunity, and belonging take root.
Why We Chose Them This Year
This partnership feels especially meaningful because 2026 is a landmark year for My Peak Challenge. As the Official Wellness Challenge Partner of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, we’ll be celebrating alongside athletes, supporters, and members from around the world. Partnering with the Commonwealth Sport Foundation gives us another opportunity to leave something lasting behind.
As the countdown to Glasgow continues, the Foundation is reimagining the King’s Baton Relay as a platform for connection and action, bringing together all 74 Commonwealth nations and territories around a shared environmental commitment—including a goal of preventing one million pieces of plastic from entering Commonwealth waterways.
It’s a celebration rooted in Scotland that reaches around the world while building something that lasts. For a community like ours—one that believes in showing up, pushing forward, and lifting others along the way—it couldn’t be a better fit.
As the Foundation puts it:
“When sport is designed and delivered with people at its heart, it can open doors, build confidence, and strengthen communities.”
We couldn’t agree more.
How You Can Be Part of It
A percentage of every My Peak Challenge membership purchased in 2026 supports the Commonwealth Sport Foundation, helping fund programs that create opportunities through sport for young people and communities across the Commonwealth.
That’s what makes this partnership so meaningful. While we’re pursuing our own goals, we’re also helping create opportunities for someone else to pursue theirs.
Together, we’re proving that movement has the power to change lives—our own and the lives of others.
